How to Effectively Deal with Stemware during a Moving Out
When moving out to a new place, there are household stuff that are relatively expensive or which hold sentimental value. More often, stemware pieces such as champagne flutes, chalices, and wine glasses are the most treasured ones. Being expensive as they are, they need to be carefully transported when moving out to a new location. Below are some useful tips on how you can safely move out these expensive pieces:
Individually put cushions on stemware pieces. If these stemware pieces are anti-scratch, you can use the cheaper paper materials like old newspapers or scrap papers your children have to cushion each piece of stemware. When possible, you can put double protection on the stemware pieces by surrounding the edges of the packing box with cloth or styrofoam. This will protect the drinking piece from getting damaged or broken when transported on a rough road. There are also specialized boxes designed for such fragile items. You place the packing box where these pieces are place at the front row of the trailer and make sure that they are immovable. You can place beside the box a heavier packing to prevent it from slipping on the trailer.
So, if you want to make sure that your valuable pieces are safely and securely transported, follow the abovementioned tips and techniques.
